I was looking at a website the other day and I ran across
this link. I just loved reading the story of this little girl!! She's only 5 years old, but she was touched by the needs of the hungry people around her. She came up with a plan to raise money, and ended up raising enough money to feed almost 18,000 people! I don't think this is a Christian family, but it really reminded me of how the faith of a child is pure and simple

"And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said,
"Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:2-4
Oh God, give me faith like that! To step forward, not knowing what the outcome will be but believing anyway.

Wow! A couple weeks ago I watched a younger girl in our church take the initiative to have a local bake sale to support our CareNet Pregnancy Center. No, she didn't end up with $34,000 ... but I relate to your desire for faith and obedience. The results of obedience are God's, not ours!
